Rehabilitation exercise
Rehabilitation exercise
The goal of rehabilitation exercises is the reduction of pain and the improvement of mobility. Through rehabilitation exercises we want to improve specific body parts, like joints (stabilisation, mobility) and muscles (strength, endurance, coordination through cognitive and instinctive learning of movement)
The aim of rehabilitation training is the relearning of every-day movement patterns or specific movements and the prevention of re-injury through designated exercises for each part of the body.
Scientists have found that physical inactivity can lead to the development of cardiovascular diseases. Physical activity is a guarantee for a long life – movement and exercise are the remedy.
“We haven’t stopped exercising because we’ve got old, but we’ve got old because we stopped exercising.”
